SAGE is proud to provide grants for teachers or administrators who support gifted students. The Fall 2017 SAGE grant awardees are:

Angie Connell, GT Specialist at Heritage Elementary, receives a SAGE Educator Grant to attend the 2017 Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT) Conference.

Bobbi Anderson, 5th Grade Math/Science Teacher and Robotics Club Sponsor at Silver Lake Elementary, receives a SAGE Educator Grant to attend the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST).

Leigh Ballard, ASPIRE 4th grade, Glenhope Elementary, receives a SAGE Educator Grant for coursework in developing gifted leaders.

​Thank you all of our members for attending SAGE’s fundraisers to fund these educator grants! One of SAGE’s key focus areas is to support the teachers of gifted students in our classrooms, specifically those who have purposeful clusters or self-contained classrooms of gifted students.
