Keynote for Students, Teachers & Parents:
“On Becoming A Mobile Learner” by digital education innovator Travis Allen, iSchool Initiative

At 9 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m., students and adults have the option to listen to an inspiring keynote speech from iSchool Initiative president and college student Travis Allen on the topic of mobile technology and digital learning in the classroom.

** Teachers may attend this keynote at no charge. Please register beforehand withe the code EDSAGE **

Learn what it means to be a lifelong learner. This concept has an entirely new definition in today’s Information Age and it requires us to create new skills while at the same time, embracing our inner student. Discover how schools, teachers, and the students themselves unintentionally obstruct their own path for the best possible education. And, most importantly, learn how to cultivate the right environment to break past these barriers.

Travis Allen is one of the most influential leaders of the emerging digital learning movement. He has been featured on CNN, Huffington Post and Forbes. He won the 2011 Google Young Minds Competition and was invited to the White House for Education Datapalooza. In 2015, he was named the GA Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
