Congratulations to Gypsy Mishoe, GCISD’s Advanced Academics Liaison, for her selection into the Emerging Leaders Program of the Texas Association for Gifted and Talented. Only 12 applicants were accepted state-wide.

Dr. Brad Schnautz, GCISD’s Deputy Superintendent, states: “Such a well-deserved honor! This experience will allow Gypsy the opportunity to collaborate and learn from other GT leaders across the State which will result in tremendous benefits for our GT teachers and learners in GCISD.”

Julie Leslie, GCISD’s Director of Advanced Academics, states: “I’m thrilled that Gypsy Mishoe was chosen for TAGT’s Emerging Leaders program for 2018-19! She is an ideal choice. Her passion for gifted learners, her expertise, and her experience with coaching GT teachers will be a tremendous asset to her colleagues. I’m also excited about the knowledge she will bring back to GCISD.”
