SAGE is proud to provide scholarship opportunities for classroom teachers or administrators who support these teachers to attend conferences. This semester’s SAGE grant awardees are:

Tonya McEnery, assistant principal of Bransford Elementary, receives a grant to attend the Depth & Complexity Summer Conference.

Cheryl Taliaferro, Ph.D., GT independent studies and ASPIRE humanities teacher at Cross Timbers Middle, receives a grant to cover travel expenses to attend the annual convention of the National Association for Gifted Children.

Thank you to everyone who applied for a grant from SAGE. One of SAGE’s key focus areas is to support the teachers of gifted students in our classrooms, specifically those who have purposeful clusters or self-contained classrooms of gifted students.
