We invite SAGE members to attend, and we welcome parents to volunteer! Please register as a parent volunteer and a student through this link.

Computers, phones, online gaming… while beneficial or entertaining, these can be disrupters to the otherwise natural development of social and interpersonal communication skills… especially after a pandemic where the majority of our “social” was associated with media or distancing.

Looking for a fun way to encourage your middle or high school student to learn crucial social skills as well as tools that will help with introductions, conversation, and social anxiety?

Then join SAGE on November 7 for the Ice Cream Social Skills event. We will use a “speed-dating” style series of stations where different skills will be taught and practiced in small groups. The event will culminate with an ice cream social (and sundae bar) for students to enjoy… and maybe even put their newly learned skills into play.
