SAGE honors Ms. Emily Ramser, High School ASPIRE English teacher at Grapevine High School as the April SAGE Educator of the Month.
Ms. Ramser was nominated by a SAGE members who stated: “from her very first “get-to-know-you” activity, Ms. Ramser has been creating a classroom environment of inclusion and safety. She actively engages both remote and in-person students. She hosts virtual “Coffee Chats” outside of class in an effort to build relationships with her students. She has provided individualized college and career guidance through a one-on-one conference with each of her students. She designs and presents content and assignments that appropriately challenge her students. Ms. Ramser responds to student writing with specific critical feedback to help them grow. She also connects students with opportunities to publish their work. We are so grateful Ms. Ramser decided to join the team at GHS! She’s made a big impact in my child’s life in just a short time.”
