SAGE honors Mr. Tim Bressler, 7th and 8th grade GT History teacher at Heritage Middle School as the November SAGE Educator of the Month.
Mr. Bressler was nominated by several GT parents. Here is what one SAGE member who nominated Mr. Bressler had to say: “Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Mr. Bressler is able to not only juggle in person and remote learners simultaneously, but keeps these teenagers engaged in class. He understands the role of an educator in fostering a student’s love of learning, and provides students activities to delve deeper into the subject matter according to their varying interest levels. Assignments often have an untraditional twist to allow students to gain additional context around the lesson. Mr. Bressler doesn’t sweat the small stuff. He realizes that his students educational journeys vary, and he is ready to challenge them at wherever they are on that journey.”
