Meeting recap:

We had a full house at September’s SAGE Brown Bag featuring Becky Manning, GCISD Director of Advanced Academics. We are very appreciative to Mrs. Manning for presenting about GCISD’s learning platform model of instruction, ASPIRE High School, GT Diversity Task Force. Click here to view the slideshow that includes answers to questions that we did not have time for during the meeting.

In addition, many parents in attendance were concerned about math acceleration, known as “telescoping,” and SAGE would like to to thank the following administrators for attending and discussing with us: Dr. Kaye Rodgers, Director of Virtual Learning for GCISD’s iUniversity Prep; Jennifer Hylemon, GCISD Director of Mathematics; and Dr. Wynette Griffin, Principal of Glenhope Elementary.
