Are you a high school student interested in Video Game Design, Lighting, Theme Parks or Theater Arts? 

Join us as our guest takes us on his journey from high school to designing theme parks with Disney imagineering. 

Our guest for the evening, Adam Frank, is a Sr. Show Lighting Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering. Mr.  Frank’s unique career combines the use of light in storytelling with cutting edge technologies to control light.  He has designed projects for Theatre, Concerts, TV, Movie Premiers, Video Games, and large Theme-Park Attractions.   Adam has a BFA in Theatrical Production Design (Scenic, Costumes, Lighting, Sound) from Ithaca College; and an MFA in Theatrical Lighting Design from the California Institute of the Arts.   

We’ll learn what it takes to prepare as a high school student for a successful career in the creative and technical arts. Among topics covered will be advice on what high school classes and college majors students should look into to position themselves for a future career similar to Mr. Frank’s.
