It’s especially important for families of gifted & talented students in GCISD to recognize that our school board has sole oversight of our GT LEAD, ASPIRE, Advanced Academics, and accelerated math telescoping programs. School districts do not receive adequate designated state funding or any federal funding for gifted & advanced programs. We rely on our school board to support & fund these programs.
