We help create a balance within the brain so that one sensory system is not overstimulated and not connecting with the other. We use a multi-sensory approach to restore balance and achieve developmental success. We will be giving out merchandise when the kids spin a wheel. We will also be doing problem solving brain games.
Door prizes: Two $50 camp coupons
Our summer programs are targeted directly for gifted students by meeting their curiosities for discrete subject matters in “intensive” environments. Stop by our table and check out our robot and other items for students of all ages to interact with.
Door prize: A free half day camp, valued $160-$180
All of our camps are aimed towards advanced students, catering to their creative problem solving and critical thinking skills. Our small camps sizes and hands on activities ensure that our students receive more personalized attention than in larger group settings. At our table on Saturday, we’ll demonstrate and allow the kids to use disposable transfer pipets and micropipets used with DNA technology. We also give out cheek cell DNA extraction kits.
Door Prizes: NuMinds items and 25% off coupons for our upcoming Irving Cardboard Challenge Spring Break Camp
Our summer camp, Camp Pursuit, is a mixed-age high-ability camp geared toward gifted learners where students create a course schedule based on their passions. By acknowledging the role asynchronous development plays in the lives of gifted learners, Camp Pursuit allows students to pursue passions unhindered by arbitrary grade levels and restrictions. On Saturday, we will host an activity from our upcoming local event, The Irving Cardboard Challenge – The Science of Paper. The station will explore the subfield of geometry called topology. Students will create and analyze a Moebius strip and, in the process, “break the laws of physics!”
Door Prize: Intro Robot Kit

Bricks 4 Kidz campers experience numerous engineering challenges while learning about various topics from space travel to computer programming. Each model build is accompanied by a STEM lesson that sparks interest and imagination. Not to mention, we have specialized camps that utilize LEGO® Wedo software and/or EV3 Mindstorms robotics. Our camps are unique in that ALL of our models are proprietary to Bricks 4 Kidz so they will not be seen or built anywhere else! On Saturday, check out our robotics example that students may hold/play with, and a few motorized models. For ages 5 – 14.
